    With event waste, renewable energy and carbon emissions all top of the agenda for eventprofs, we want to know who’s leading the way in making the sector more sustainable. Whether it’s a beehive on the roof or a living wall at a venue, tell us about those innovative policies that are driving change across the industry, and our panel of judges will pick out a winner.

    17. NEW: Best Diversity and Inclusion Award
    We’re recognising the individual, group or company that has made the biggest difference on DEI this year. Tell us who leads initiatives or events that increase the awareness, understanding or promotion of diversity. To win tell us in 500 words or less and attach any supporting documentation.

    18. Team of the year
    We’re rewarding the team in the industry that has elevated events and event professionals, be it corporate, agency, association, events, marketing, sales or otherwise – who’s stood out for you this year?

    19. Personality of the year
    As ever, we’ll be rewarding the person within the industry who has been the most prominent and done the most to elevate events and event professionals within the industry and to a wider audience. In a year like no other, who’s had a year like no other?

 
    1. Only UK-based bona-fide event organisers are permitted to vote.

    2. Potential nominees are not permitted to vote for themselves.

    3. Suppliers to the industry are not permitted to vote. (Apart from Team of the Year).

    4. An organisation cannot be voted for in more than three categories.

    5. Only one vote per person. Additional votes received from the same person will be excluded.

    6. Potential nominees are not permitted to suggest the names of other organisations for other voting categories.

    7. No cross canvassing between suppliers (e.g venue/caterer) is permitted.

    8. The personal identifier question must be completed on all forms in order for votes to be registered.

    9. Votes must be cast by 29 April 2022 to be registered.

    10. The decision of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) on behalf of the organisers is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

Voting prize

Thank you for taking the time to vote in this M&IT Awards, the winner of this year’s competition prize will soon be announced, where one lucky winner will enjoy five nights at the 5* InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah AL Arab Resort and Spa.

This prize is available to the individual selected and is not transferable and must be redeemed within the voucher period offered.
