Who are we?
The Celtic Collection is a prestigious family of experience-focused UK business and leisure destinations born from the success of the world-renowned Celtic Manor Resort, the group’s flagship destination situated in the beautiful Usk Valley at the gateway to South Wales. Celtic Manor Resort is one of Europe’s finest destinations for luxury escapes, family breaks, golfing getaways and business events. Host venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and the 2014 NATO Summit, the resort is set in more than 2,000 acres of panoramic parkland at the gateway to South Wales and has been voted the UK’s Best Hotel at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards on nine occasions. The 330-bed hotel is home to five restaurants, five bars, two luxury spas, three championship golf courses, 10 luxurious Hunter Lodges and a range of adventure and team-building activities. The hotel also houses a convention centre over three floors, which has been purpose-built for everything from board meetings to major conferences in the 1,500-delegate Caernarfon Suite with 24 additional syndicate and meeting rooms. The Celtic Collection includes the historic 19th century Manor House with 70 rooms, the 148-room Coldra Court, the Newbridge on Usk country inn with six rooms, Tŷ Hotel Magor with 129 bedrooms, The 170-bedroom Parkgate Hotel was opened in Cardiff in Autumn 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union, following a careful renovation of two of the city centre’s most historic buildings – the old Post Office and the former County Court. The Parkgate is home to one of Cardiff’s largest meeting spaces, with its Postmaster Suite capable of hosting up to 432 people. Period features of the heritage properties have been brought out to create exceptional facilities which include a more intimate meeting space in the Telegraph Room, the Sorting Room brasserie restaurant and bar, elegant tea lounges, and a rooftop spa with infinity pool views over the city skyline. Further expansion has seen The Celtic Collection open the 100-bedroom Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront in Pembrokeshire in Spring 2022, in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven. International Convention Centre Wales International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) is the UK’s newest and most exciting events venue. Opened in 2019, world-class facilities include a 4,000 sq m pillar-free exhibition hall, a 1,500-seat auditorium, versatile meeting rooms and an abundance of breakout and networking spaces, flooded in natural daylight. Built in an £84m joint venture project with Welsh Government, the venue is highly accessible just two hours from London and a stone’s throw from Junction 24 of the M4, yet it is situated in ancient woodland with floor to ceiling meeting room windows and outdoor breathing space making the most of the stunning environment. Designed on the recommendations of event organisers following intensive focus groups, sustainability was a high priority in the construction of the venue which is committed to representing best practice in all areas of sustainable service delivery. ICC Wales has been awarded Green Dragon Level 3 status from Welsh Government and the Green Key International standard, the largest global eco-label developed by the Federation for Environmental Education.

Selena O’Neil-Smith joined The Celtic Collection in 2022, having worked in the hospitality industry for more than a decade. With a rounded background in both hotel operations and sales, Selena brings this dual experience to helping understand and deliver client needs. As Sales Manager, she plays an important role in promoting and developing events business for the expanding Celtic Collection of prestigious hotels and venues.
